A 6 year old kid’s father abandoned his family.. A young girl in her 20s and four kids, the youngest being a toddler were all left, forsaken and disowned by the man of the house. The boy being the eldest went to school.. and as days rolled on his mother somehow managed to get hold of a job in his school… she worked there as a part time teacher which paid her just enough to feed her 4 kids and send the eldest son to school..
One day.. The mother met a nice lady.. this woman was an honorary teacher in that school… she was a pleasant woman with a patient face.. the lady listened to the mother’s problems.. Stories about how the father abandoned her with four children.. and how they lived in a small house with very little to eat.. the mother talks with teary eyes that if it became too hard she would have to stop sending her eldest and the most brightest of her children to school.. the woman's heart of gold went out for this poor mother who was hardly any older than her.. Probably even younger.. that’s when she promised the pained mother that she would pay the school fees and give personal tuitions to the boy as long as she can.. the lady not only upheld her promise but also managed to get all the brothers and sisters of the boy into schools and even helped his mother in getting a better job… five.. and then ten years.. the nice lady had become a part of the boy’s family.. a person whom they would all worship and longed to see..
After the boy completed his 12th.. he wanted a lot of money to study further.. and as earlier.. he and his mother came to the lady’s house and asked for help.. the lady being who she was gave them what little she could and blessed them with a pure heart and wished the best.. she then spoke to the nearby dentist and got the boy a cleaner’s job at the dentist’s office.. the boy worked as a cleaner by dusk and a student by dawn..
After nearly 18 years... of losing his father and an overturned fate.. the boy with his mother and a younger brother go to the nice lady’s house.. and the kid says ‘ your student finally became a doctor miss’ … tears… gush from the lady’s eyes.. and.. ‘god bless you’ is all that she says..
I feel so blessed and gifted.. to say that the nice lady is my mother.. my dear mother who helped many such people is all that I can ask from life.. all these years… I thought I would become something special... but today I realize.. that being born as my mother’s son.. is all I could ever wish for :)
